MaCSIE (Maxi) - High-Function Citrus Peel Paste

MaCSIE is a material that conforms to the SDGs, made from food waste that is not effectively utilized. It can be used safely as it is derived from food sources and is additive-free and unmodified. There are grades available for cosmetics and food. ○ Raw materials: Iyo-kan citrus peel, Amanatsu citrus peel ○ Fiber width: 2–10 nanometers ○ Features: High viscosity, emulsifying aid function, skin protection function, high specific surface area, thixotropic ○ Color and scent: Citrus-specific color and scent (Iyo-kan), milky white, almost odorless (Amanatsu) ○ Citrus peels contain active ingredients such as β-cryptoxanthin and hesperidin, which have been confirmed to have various functionalities. ★★★ For Cosmetics ★★★ ○ Replacement of synthetic ingredients with plant-based materials, or creating products primarily from plant-based materials ○ Product development utilizing thickening, emulsifying aid, and skin protection functions ○ Product development leveraging the active ingredients of citrus ★★★ For Food ★★★ ○ Product development utilizing water retention properties ○ As an emulsifier and dispersion stabilizer ○ As a thickening agent utilizing viscosity ○ For new textured foods utilizing thixotropic properties * There is potential to improve flavor and texture by combining MaCSIE with other ingredients. * It does not act as an additive.
